Going beyond own limits

Hi all, since the website talks also about hope, I am sharing with you the achievement I got last week. I am aware that my skills for foreign languages are very limited as you can also realize reading my posts. But believe me that I am doing all my best to send to you my messages of love and hope by writing in English which is the international language for communication all around the world. I remember that I was very bad in English during my high school, and it is very funny for me to think that I wrote my Ph.D. thesis in English, I went to live abroad, and now, I am writing poems and novels in English, and I am managing this website. Of course, the language is very far from being perfect, but I really hope that it can be understood without big difficulties.

Coming back to my achievement, I am trying to learn also Polish with Duolingo and for me that is very challenging because of my poor skills for speaking another language. And, a very strange case, it happened that I have been able to reach the first position in the highest league last weekend. So, this is just an example to tell you that if we really believe in ourselves, we can go beyond own capabilities and what we think are our limits. I have already told you about my achievements in bowling and walking but this has a special value for me because I have never expected it. Of course, there will be always people who can do things better than us but if we really put all our efforts on something, we can reach goals which can appear almost impossible at least, at the beginning. So, I encourage you to never give up in front of your limits :)
